Abstract—Crude ethyl acetate, methanol and aqueous extracts of Euphorbia kamerunica plant were investigated for the antimicrobial properties using agar well diffusion technique against pathogenic bacteria and yeast ( Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella typhi and Candida albicans). The extract exhibited greater activity on Gram positive bacteria and methanol extract showed greater activity than ethyl acetate and aqueous extracts.
